How do I apply V-PRO® Protection Board?

  1. Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of chemicals.

  2. Unroll the board and lay it down with a slight overlap on edges. The board lays out flat immediately.

  3. For best results, press firmly to ensure it adheres properly and avoid gaps.


Can V-PRO® Protection Board be used on all types of flooring?

V-PRO® Protection Board is suitable for most hard, smooth surfaces, including laminate, PVC, tiles, and stairs. However, it is not recommended for porous stone floors, newly laid concrete, or surfaces prone to moisture issues.


What are the benefits of using V-PRO® Protection Board over other protective materials?

What is V-PRO® Seam Tape and what are its features?

V-PRO® Seam Tape is designed for sealing seams in protection boards to ensure a continuous, secure barrier. Key features include:

  • Adhesive: Modified acrylic

  • Color: Blue

  • Thickness: 0.2 mm

  • Adhesive Strength: High (AFERA)

  • Application Temperature: 5°C to 40°C

How should V-PRO® Seam Tape be applied?

Clean and dry the surface where the tape will be applied. Unroll the tape and press it firmly over the seam of the protection board, ensuring there are no air bubbles or gaps.
